Bob’s 1944 Kubel in the works!
With Bad Camberg around the corner we better hurry up and finish our 1944 Kubelwagen… being in a museum for many years, and in scruffy collector hands since, well we prepared some serious works, all in all its not that bad, somebody made a serious job of make it driveable in the past… we will bring it back to the road during our convoy… maybe we should take place on the “Petermax Müller Gedächnissrennen”?
Front axle needed thorough cleaning and removal of old grease, what was still in it was almost hard as a rock, hey, we like gentle suspension!
Kubel from space? Maybe in 50 years from now we drive all without wheels. Shouldn’t harm, don’t You think? I like it anyway…
The engine we’ll put in will be a secret for now, a secret only to be unvealed at BBT’s openhouse party, June 23 in the afternoon! Come and see with your own eyes, on the pre reserved parking for the “Petermax Müller Gedächnissrennen” at BBT HQ!
1956 Oval ragtop super cruizer’ is ready!
The1956 ragtop is completely finished now, all electrical problems have been solved, all the mechanics had a serious tune up, we drove it a couple of days so that we could be sure that it was all just as we wanted it. Wowh! a real blast to drive!
So now its up to you, if you like to cruize anytime soon, this baby is ready to Rock and Roll ! Rock solid Arizona desert oval ragtop with all and everything for You to play around…
A real headturner guaranteed! Don’t let this one slip away, oval ragtops are soooooo hot, yummie!

Westy wash
To make the best out of upcoming season we thought our trusty Westy deserved a good wash, still at the old wash bay, the new wash bay will be ready in a week from now, old cars in old washbay’s, hmmm sometimes we just love to hang around our cars…
Atlamatic
BBT prepares for the “big move” and all equipment gets a check-up to be mobilized to take part in this event. This aircooled VW powered Atlamatic came towards us together with a big stockpile used parts but it was stored a long time. Now Koen gets the chance to wake up “Forkie” to play a big role in BBT move. Hopefully there are no big issues, the search for parts on these isn ‘t easy. we ‘ll keep you posted.
Donor cars
A new donor piece has been selected and being cut out to save another victum from the rust devil. Hopefully the new patient will be able to hit the roads again very soon.
