My good old friend Bart, and his buddy Chris came by the other day with their latest acquisition, a shorty single cab, straight from the States, cheap buy, hopefully they can finish properly… succes guys!
When we be called to save a beetle we have to act fast… this garage was end of rent and Chris, a BBT customer from the early years, called us to ask if we had any interest in her love from yesteryears… 15 years of storage, 4 flat tyres and frozen brakes, stored in the very last box of the plot, not easy accessible with trailer or van…. another afternoon of pure VW fun!
Half way out, only one brake frozen now, almost there…

Since a year now BBT set up a quarterly container service to the West Coast of the United States. Orders and cars we sold will be always shipped together. Most US aircooled VW company’s take advantage of our transport possibility’s, as we’re shipping anyway, every three months, not too bad huh….

this shipment we returned a couple of pallets with transmission cores for rebuilding…
18 pallets inside, packed and stuffed well, goods out did a wonderfull job in no time…
and all being topped off very nicely with Eddy’s new High roof, a real “returning customer”, this is no less as the third High roof Eddy bought from BBT! All smaller orders been loaded into the bus, a highroof house loads of space!
a little problem at the end, load was so heavy our big “hulk” forklift wasn’t strong enough to lift and pull to get doors closed for fumigation. Little Lilliput was called into help, joined forces brought everything to a good end….
Sad to see it go, but I’m sure it will go to a good home, last week we delivered our 1962 Bad Ass rat look crewcab to its new owner in Germany.
Load it up Guido, make sure to strap it well so it don’t fall off, ready for a 600km journey…
