BBT News

Another Friday another BBT News.
Every Friday we show you our new products and product updates.

We keep working hard to adapt our product program to your VW needs.
This week we also feature “in the picture” parts to simply highlight some quality parts.

Let’s kick off and check what’s new this week.

Late bay window front bumper mounts on the deformation panel.
We recently finished the tooling for the deformation panel and started the production.

Meanwhile we like to introduce the end pieces, chich connect the deformation panel with the A-pillar.

The shape is quite complicated to just “patch” a piece of metal.
That is why we stock  now the deformation end pieces for your 74-79 Bay window.

1973 model year deformation panels are slightly different, upright at the end.
BBT will bring 1973 only and 1974-1979 deformation panels soon.
1973 only deformation end pieces will come shortly as well.

Late Brazilian VW model brake master cylinder differs with the European counterparts.
The late model Brazilian master cylinder has a different neck as they use a shorter push rod.

With more Brazilian models imported in Europe we now stock these master cylinders as well.
Will fit all Brazilian models and derivates on late model Fusca and Brazilia platform like Sedan, Variant, TC, Gurgel and many more.

We had a good deal with ATE Brazil, we  offer this master cylinder at very sharp prices.

Our supplier for the rubber sleeve between carburetor and air filter on your bay window quitted production during Covid.

With all stocks and inventory drying up worldwide we had to find a solution.
Solution came from another OE manufacturer  disposed to run a production for us.

Made with a better rubber compound they’re better reinforced than before.
Will not crack that soon anymore and stays better in place.

Because of an entire production made we have plenty of inventory!

Intake manifolds are the highway connecting your carb with the motor providing the mixture needed to get going. Over time they tend to fail, usually because they’ve rusted and cause an air leakage or the preheat tubes get clogged up from carbon deposits. Although, with enough time and perseverance they could be fixed but you may find you’re not the first one attempting this when seeing previous repairs. A new manifold can be just the thing between a good or poor running engine. This problem solver is available off the shelve here at BBT.
