Wowh, what a Japan trip and the fun just continues… yesterday we spend full day as a selected participant at the “4th Klassisches VW Treffen” near mount Fuji… the most iconic land mark in the whole country of Japan…
The BBT split sitting proud on its red carpet… thanks to Nao san and his team… our splittie was really a selected VIP car!
Nice line up in beautiful setting! Imagine this show like a cool Japanese Garden, with extreme cool and well-selected Vintage Volkswagens in between!
2 Hebmullers and a Karmann Convertible in one row… not your every day sight…
Long time friend Mr Shigeo from Bug Werks fame had a real nice swap booth… ! Eriba Puck is really popular in Japan.. more than likely because of its size…:)
Garage Vintage from Osaka was out full force! Garage Vintage and BBT goes back loooong way!
Extreme cool Porsche 356 engine conversion into the Companies Barn door “Shop truck”
Seeing back my old Fridolin was over the edge… I used to own this car twice and it used to be one of my support cars when we tried to get BBT USA from the ground… The owner was real happy he could learn about his car and meet me in person… Signing the dash was a owners request…:)
Extreme cool Low light was just one of the six in attendance…
BBT trading booth was nice and well visited!
Another highlight of the show was a real photo studio! For a small fee You could let picture your car in a real studio, the BBT split was honoured! The previews are wild! what a difference… hmmm maybe I have to make a picture studio @ home…
Best of show… 1952 standard split, extreme nice detailed!
winners coral… all happy faces! BBT special award was given to the Barndoor pick up with tilt… awesome car… hope to show pictures in detail in the upcoming weeks…
