The whole weekend kicked off with Mark Merrill’s open house. Personal friend and very serious VW collector Mark is incredible good to the local VW crowd and other visitors as well!
Friday morning, Ray and Christopher sweep the floors, everything has to be spot on!! Mark is ordering Pizza in the back! (believe me or not!)
On return the afternoon, this cool Ghia is parked before the door…
And a little later this cool 56 vert do arrive as well… many cars, to many to put here!
Mark and his team did an incredible job! Here is the Westfalia display, T1, 2 and 3!
And the special display in the corner, with the recently acquired Aussi car…
Here the utility display, an ambulance (ex BBT) and a fire truck bay window… both pristine condition!
The 1958 fire truck, also ex BBT ! take also a look to the weird trailer that they hooked up!
A buddy came down from seattle with this 356 powdered Mango bus, way to cool!
Yours truly in that Mango, man I do love that bus!
ah, my new acquisition!! A 1967 Kombi, mainly first paint, dry, solid and fully operational! And yes it’s for sale!
Inside the party is in full operation, free food, free drinks, even free cocktails! wowh Mark this is very very high class!!!
Mark has a separate literature room, and also this very special dedicated toy room!
Taco’s are ready…. guess they will be good if You can tell from the line up!
wowh Ghia cab down the street…
