We left the Taco bell HQ (where Cars & coffee is) around 07.30…. going for breakfast downtown Huntignton Beach…. to find another car show, what was all about Hot Rods and Cobra’s… two car shows before Breakfast… welcome to California! Steve having the time of his live, Cobra’s being is all time favorite!

Leaving Huntington Beach by 11am, right on time to meet buddy Eddy, from Eddy & Dave’s Garage fame in his Blue High roof at his shop…. awesome bus to me! Let’s go together to the Schley museum for another car thing going on, three car shows a day,…. only in California!
As for their endless input to make history available to people like me that was to young to enjoy the real progressive VW tuning from back in the day I donated an original blueprint from a 88mm slipper skirt piston, made by Mahle, approved in 1966 by nobody less as Joe Vitone himself! A real weird piece of Empi history…
and I was not the only guy who donated today… thanks to Dean Kirsten one of the original doors from the Inch Pincher was located AND donated too!
oh yes, there was (and is ) a lot of interest about all the Oldschool… journalist from all over with huge camera’s came out and drummed to get first in  line!
