More then likely a lot had to see with incredible nice weather we had the last couple of weeks, everybody in Western Europe is completely in “spring” mood!
The Freddy Files yesterday was extremely packed, with around 1400 cars in attendance….
For BBT David it was the BIG DAY to finally brake in his new ride, a 1959 Single cab, fresh in from California, with a last “touch” from our BBT crew, lowered, straight axle, sitting on Real Early Porsche wheels, with NOS pressed bumpers, tarp, roof rack You name it! Get on da road David! This ride is begging for miles!
BBT drives in style! 
On arrival the entree as the entire place was packed already….
Thanks God the organizers had access to an “overflow park” what filled up completely as well!
ah, this French guy says it all! This is not a car….its a life style! Yes, we’re the aircooled crews! This is life entirely, even a little bit more sometimes….:)
Its always good to see the Bay window from the organizers, one of the first bay windows ever produced, VIN nr 218000067 build in yes, 1967, now how cool is a matching VIN number in your eyes? Some guys have it all!….
Patrick’s 15 window is a stand out, on any show! Man oh man do we like patina!

The 181 crew out in force! These “things” as they’ve been called “on the other side of the pod” gain in popularity a big chunk lately, nice, as they’re cool cars too!
And even the Big Guys from the Aircooled scene left their stables for this edition of the Freddy files… 411 & 412, a warm and very welcome…

Dormobile conversions are still very popular, on bay or splitwindow… We always have customers for conversion kits if You have one around you like to get rid off, used or new, we’re your buyer!

This lowlight Ghia was heavy loaded, and for sale… not really our style, but it was nicely modified! A very harsh Autobahn cruizer more then likely…
Dze Man himself! “Freddy” Frederic Peeters, Ninove’s city main VW goeroe, and organizer of several fine VW shows to joy of everybody… Ninove is his organisation in his hometown!

Leave a CommentLeft York with 12 friends…went to this show in Belgium (2nd time) .. and came back with hundreds of new friends. okay so maybe not hundreds, but this show seems to have a way of really bringing out the spirit of the dub scene. Everyone was in high spirits, helpful, friendly and having a great time. Can’t wait for the next…thanks Freddy.
