I have a question, I am replacing my CV joint style transaxle in my 1974 Bug Cassis hunting buggy with an old van swing transaxle with reduction gears. I need to know if the spring plates and tortion bar from an old bug fit, and could I use the spring plates ,and tortion bar from the old donor bus . Thank you..Juan..

as for your set up with reduction boxes, i would start from a early thing with reduction boxe, as bus parts do not gonna fit your bug easily…
