BBT makes Bus steering easy (again)!

Finally we managed to finish the detailed mounting sheet for our Split window bus steering boxes, so we’re ready to start selling!

BBT ref. 1368-20 is a perfect alternative for split window bus steering box, installation requires slight (very slight) modification and steering capabilities change a little (more turns required) but at least we offer a serious alternative for so many totally worn out steering boxes…

We drove ourselves with the BBT Westy and BBT Back up truck and approved this steering… both cars been tested several thousand kilometers… The Westy we challenged with several Alp passes in Switzerland, The BBT Back Up truck always is heavy with its complete load of tools and spares in the back… in the beginning steering might be little “stiff”, but once settled the steering box works just fine!

As said not as original, but at least a good alternative! It comes with a very well detailed mounting instruction sheet in 4 languages…..

Contact your local BBT dealer for any further information or to order!

  1. I have a 64 bus with locking ignition. Do you make those boxes as well? What slight modifications are you talking about for installation?

  2. Thanks for your comment.

Ignition lock for bus is always oiptional, You can build to the new steering box the same like it is build on your old one….

Installation sheet will be mailed to You with all and any comments on this… i drove this steering box myself over the swiss alps into Italy and back, crossing many mountainpasses with breatjless views, and I’m still alive, so they actually do work well!!!….:)
