Yesterday I drove with Bert (my moms friend) to Germany for the delivery of two very important cars….
our mini convoy….:)
first stop oàn the German Autobahn, we need a pee and a coffee! Bert, 75 years old, loves to drive old VW buses, the ex Jason Kendall 21 window in desirable Lotus white was proved and well found by Bert…. First delivery was the meticulous Rometsch Beeskow @ the Grundmann museum in Hessisch Oldendorf… first leg of our tour was fullfilled! From HO we continued to Hanover where we had to go to the outer skirts where all special bus works been provided for the Volkswagenwerk… it seems that the old-timer abteilung from VW Nutzfahrzeuge got its own proper spot now, not in the factory anymore like a couple of years ago
and not only the oldies are in this area….:)
back home, after 45 years of traveling the United states this baby is back in the factory where its been made… yes we @ BBT sell cars to Volkswagen werk…. if we’re good enough for Volkswagen factory are we good enough for You?
I was allowed to take pictures inside, but unfortunately only for private use, so sorry I can not publish on the blog….:(
quiet exhausting day, I slept well last night, and dreamed about….. Vw buses….:)
