Railway station…

Even now the roof looks (and feels) like an ice rink, workers continue to install the solar panel supports. It seems our own railway station will be operational very soon…

4/5th of the roof has been done, only a few meters left. The workers tell us they have excellent working conditions as long it remains dry… -3°C ? Excellent working conditions???

Works continue…

Winter started @ BBT HQ with cold temperatures but the roof insulation workers continue. Starting their working day early and come down from the roof late… For one or another reason this scene might remind us to many BBQ scene’s we’ve seen last meeting season…

BBT & energy

Yesterday, the last insulation panels are being placed on the old building roof and…

…the first load of solar panels and mounting rails arrived early in the morning. It seems like they ‘ll speed up some things. Winter season is almost there which may cause delay in the  installation process. Hopefully freeze cold and snow will wait a little longer so we can start-up the BBT power plant in time.

BBT thinks green…

As we’ve already indicated before, BBT started earlier last weeks to work on our environment and does all it can to safe as much valuable energy as possible.

10 SMA Sunny tripower power converters have been placed already, each to convert 1000 V DC to 400 V AC and generate 12000 W. BBT will become a power plant on it’s own!

Before they start to place the solar panel rails we need to add some extra roof insulation to ensure decent energy management. It would be a bit foolish to loose the generated energy due to lack of decent insulation.

Let’s hope it remains dry… Bad weather conditions doesn’t any good to the roof insulation job.
