BBT’s Friday’s product update!

Another Friday, another product update, a lot of new products this week, wawh, almost an overload…

Finally we found a good alternative for doglegs for late bay window busses 1973-1979 very nicely made not really comparable with OE, especially these are way cheaper, and way better then the other crap on the market. Check the pictures and order yours! Use BBT#0891-104 for Left and BBT#0891-105 for Right side finally something affordable and useable!

More Bay window new goodies with this very nicely made cover for the sliding door lock, situated on the right side in the front… order yours under BBT# 7570-030 This number fits all year bay window bus from 1968 till very end in 1979.

Friday, BBT’s product update!

Its Friday again, and yes its Easter weekend, get ready for that chocolate eggs hunting on Sunday morning! We, at BBT, don’t have eggs, but some other nice surprises!

We also had a new load of Convertible chassis strengtheners came in, we sell these so many, never realized there was so many convertibles still around. Quality is second to none, or just s comparable as OE. we supply to models;

We have another big news to tell… BBT do stock from now on the real reproduction of Banana bumpers used on beetles pre 1949! we got front and rear bumpers and the horns, on request we also can supply the chrome version… many years obsolete we thought we had to bring these back. stamped out of one piece there is nothing coming closer to the real deal…. No BBT part number, but available from our shop. just ask; “Banana’s”…:)

Easter Holiday was also the start to move our NOS dept. we still carried a large NOS room in our old building… move is slow and though, but one day we make it! Cylinder heads have made it to their new location already, fancy for NOS cylinder heads? 1.2 or 1.3 single port or others? You name it we probably got some…

1964 Panel van with sliding cargo door!

This bus is an extreme cool panel van and the first year of the available option of a sliding cargo door. Build in November 1964 we have to call this a 1965 model year.

The bus is all good and runs just fine, brakes are strong and tranny is all overhauled for smooth shifting… All electrics doing just fine, all in all this baby is ready to hit the road!

1965 21 Window samba microbus deluxe. Stunning!

Are you ready for Picnic?

Imagine summertime, good nice sunny weather, your wife or girlfriend, the children, grandchildren, or your neighbors’ children. Drive out, on the beautiful Sunday morning, to a nice cozy place, near the river, in that hilly landscape, the forest, or a nice park.

What I especially like, is that the wheels and bumpers are still in original paint. Untouched, with the patina they got during their longlife since 1964… In my eyes it will be extremely hard to find any VW bus still sporting its factory paint in 25 years from now, but this one makes a perfect candidate! The factory paint on wheels and bumpers is what makes this bus stand out above most other busses.

BBT’s friday product update

Another week, another friday, today is BBT’s product day…. and we seleceted some real nice stuff for you.

This week was very busy again @ BBT HQ maybe the nice spring weather in most parts of Europe might have got to see with it. Whatever, we do just like busy times, don’t we….:)

Goods in, unpacked ready to go to the shelves… busy as always…

We received the backing plates back in stock for beetle 67 and later, @ the rear.

Still made in Germany with unbeatable quality, the only ones and by far the best on the market… we can call very easy OE quality. This is a must have at any restoration…. You can order yours under BBT ref 1293-5 for left and 1294-5 for the right side…

another new BBT baby… the little fixing plate that keep the top front axle bolts under the gastank for all beetles. Made in Germany, unequalled quality, discontinued from VW do Brasil, so we’re the sole source on the market…. we presse”d proud but discreet our BBT production logo in!
