BBT’s friday product update

Another week, another friday, today is BBT’s product day…. and we seleceted some real nice stuff for you.

This week was very busy again @ BBT HQ maybe the nice spring weather in most parts of Europe might have got to see with it. Whatever, we do just like busy times, don’t we….:)

Goods in, unpacked ready to go to the shelves… busy as always…

We received the backing plates back in stock for beetle 67 and later, @ the rear.

Still made in Germany with unbeatable quality, the only ones and by far the best on the market… we can call very easy OE quality. This is a must have at any restoration…. You can order yours under BBT ref 1293-5 for left and 1294-5 for the right side…

another new BBT baby… the little fixing plate that keep the top front axle bolts under the gastank for all beetles. Made in Germany, unequalled quality, discontinued from VW do Brasil, so we’re the sole source on the market…. we presse”d proud but discreet our BBT production logo in!

1963 Crewcab and 1952 split window delivery.

Last Saturday we delivered the 1963 crew cab and the 1952 split window beetle to its new owner… transporting two cars at once is always some organisation…

Ready for take off…. the split beetle in the boxvan, the crew cab on the trailer….

mission accomplished, we wish Sebastien all the best with his new acquisitions, a lot of fun and even more driving pleasures.

SOS Type 34… Rescue operation by BBT.

When BBT’s distributor from Sofia Bulgaria called in the other day he was in urgent need for head and taillights for his type 34, BBT went into fifth gear… the Type 34 was planned to participate on a show only three weeks after…. we traced down all the requested trough the Type 34 innercircle and shipped straight to Sofia, the car made it on time… mission accomplished.

2 weeks before….

and the car finished at the show… everybody happy!

BBT’s Car update….

a lot moved around last week, in BBT autoland..

Stefan got delivery from his newly acquired 1970 T2a Deluxe, extreme solid Arizona car, we wish him all the luck to get it properly restored and a lot of joy and happiness!

when we move cars, the BBT parking always looks so great…:) just a couple of shots out of my office window…

The ugly big duck Cadillac is moved to another warehouse, so away from us, yihaa… space for two more beetles…:) This is really a very big car!

yesterday Philippe picked up his “new” bus, a nice original 1963 turkish and white, first paint, 1914cc, drives like heaven… we wish Philippe many miles of pure driving pleasure on the way to the public markets where he sells his “neuzekes”, a typical Belgian candy.

Jac’s 1955 is for sale!

BBT’s friend of the house Jac, from East coast Canada is selling his very clean 1955 ragtop to fund another project… made on April first 1955 this is not a fool or a joke, it’s a real car!

Built before July 31 1955 means it’s still a real 1955 model with heart taillights, straight seats, ribbed doors, batwing steering wheel and all other “early only” goodies… whereunder that superslick 3 fold ragtop…. too cool for words…

Inside is clean and original, very original…

Powerplant is still the all original 30 DINhp, (36 Sae) since new… it get’s you everywhere, probably the very best engine type VW ever build….
