We just got this 1960 SO23 Westfalia camper in… a real beast!!
Pretty straight bus that needs a light resto to be perfect! Imagine bringing this back to its original sealing wax red over seagull grey paint colors… a real headturner ahead!
Small tailgate, original round tail lights, it does tick the boxes, doesn’t it?

Most furniture is still around and can be easily restored, table is missing… cozy huh?
Extreme coveted Top Hatch “Flip top”… this oh so easy original Westfalia addition makes it so easy to put your pair of pants on in the morning… remember I’m a very well experienced SO23 traveler!
Even the battery tray is still in good condition!
Rockers will need replacement and some other small stuff too, but in general it all looks fairly well to me, this baby is 55 years old!
Same on the other side, very usable…

We do like early westfalia’s, they’re so rare and hard to find! Once finished they’re not only more practical as a Samba, but nicer too!
