The Bremen Classic motor show this year is in the sign of the “Wirtschaftswunder” or all the small cars Germany used to produce that build up a complete empty and fully destroyed country in no time after the second world war…. their display was just gorgeous, would’t mind some of these cars in my garage, do you?

DSC07948_blog DSC07951_blog We wish all a very nice weekend, Monday we will be back in BBT HQ for a new week full of (VW) adventures, stay tuned!

  1. Love the red and white Lloyd LT 600 van.
What ever happened to it? Did you sell it? And do you have more pictures of it?
I haven’t seen that color combo on a Lloyd van before…same color combo as my ’14 Fiat 500L ( which, to me looks like the modern day Lloyd LT van!). I used to own two Goliath Hansa 1100 sedans, fun, but qwerky cars. I have a website and forum called World Of Goliath, Borgward, & Lloyd, a good way for enthusiasts of these cars to correspond ( see address above). Getting ready to buy a 1975 VW Westy from a friend who is restoring it. Rare fuel injected automatic ( so my wife can drive it). Enjoyed looking at your site.

  2. Thanks for checking in david.

the Lloyd LT 600 is still mine, I think about letting restoring it but I need to find a Lloyd 600cc engine first, if You have any leads? otherwise I can sell like it as well… its the “last survivor” of my mini van collection from a while back… a collection that was assembled with Tempo Matatdor, DKW Schnellaster, a 51 Barndoor VW bus etc….

about VW every bus exported to USA after 1975 was Fuel injected, that coupled to the 75- Automatic gearbox is a dream to drive, and very reasonable in mileage… Bus Fuel injections are very functional and very practical and so easy to maintain. Good choice, and your wife… I hope she will love it!

    all the best

    Bob
